Getting to Bandarban from Dhaka and Chittagong
Night coaches, day buses, private car — and how our free pickup from the bus stand works.
From Dhaka. Night coaches leave Kallyanpur, Gabtoli and Sayedabad between 9pm and 11pm and reach Bandarban around 7am. Shyamoli, Hanif, S. Alam and Ena all run the route. Book a seat on the right-hand side going down — you get the hills first.
From Chittagong. Buses go from Bahaddarhat roughly every half hour and take about three and a half hours. By private car it is closer to three.
From the bus stand to us. Send us your arrival time on WhatsApp the day before and we will have someone waiting. It is about fifteen minutes up the Nilachal road. There is no charge for this.
One thing to know. If you are arriving on a Thursday night in winter, book early. That is the busiest arrival of the week in Bandarban and rooms across town fill up.
